Enjoy an evening along Bays Mountain Reservoir from the comforts of your own canoe/kayak/s.u.p. (stand up paddleboard) while viewing the night sky.
It’s an astronomy program with a twist. Join park staff, in the middle of the reservoir, for a guided hike through the night sky. Learn about the constellations and viewable plants with the naked eye.
Guests are required to bring their own canoe/kayak/s.u.p. and paddling equipment along with a Type III PFD (personal floatation device). Guests can unload water crafts near the upper portion of the dam. The cost is $10.00 per person.
Note: If the weather is clear to partly cloudy, the program will commence. If it is fully cloudy to rain, the program is canceled.
