along Lakeside Trail, up Sweetgum, and out to Feagins Gap with park guides.
Learn about what it was like to live on the mountain over 100 years ago. The hike will cover several moderate trails with steep elevation change.
The group will hike just under four miles, round trip, from Lakeside Trial, to Sweetgum, then out to Feagins Gap and up Lake Road over to Ledbetter Gap and then back to the dam.
The cost is $5 per person for non-members. Pre-registration is required by calling the Nature Center at (423) 229-9447. Group will meet under the balcony behind the Nature Center.
Please bring drinking water and wear closed-toed hiking shoes. No pets allowed.
