Public planetarium astronomy programs are geared for family audiences and are suitable for ages 10 and above.
Show Times
Weekdays
September through May:
4 p.m. - Tues. through Fri. only.
June, July, & August:
1, 2, & 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday
March through October
1, 2, 4, & 5 p.m.
November through February
1, 2, & 4 p.m.
Planetarium Show Tickets
*New pricing effective July 1, 2010.
Tickets are $4.00 per person. Children ages 5 and under will be given a free pass.
Park Association members are free.
Group rates to regularly scheduled public shows are $3.00 per person.The group must have at least 15 people, including children of all ages, and no other discounts may be used with group rates. Groups must make reservations in advance by calling 423-229-9447.

School Planetarium Programs
Bays Mountain provides quality educational programming that is designed to meet the needs of grades K through 12. Special school programs are available from September through May. These presentations are scheduled on mornings and early afternoons from Tuesday through Friday. Please visit the Education area of our site for information about how to schedule a school visit and detailed program information.
